Nicolas Nitti, P.E - President

Nicolas Nitti is the founder and principal engineer of WestShore Design Engineers, P.C.  Nic received his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and his Masters of Science in Structural Engineering from California State University, Fullerton. 

Nic has extensive experience in retail, commercial, high-end residential, and alternative energy sectors.  He’s building WDE based on a team concept, within both our office and outside client relationships.  Each project has unique design challenges, and Nic believes that to give the owner the best possible product, each member of the design team needs to work together in harmony.  He strives to make WDE an integral part of that design team, and in doing so, builds long-term client relationships.   

He grew up in Cobleskill, NY where he found his passion for construction and design while working on his family farm.  Today, he lives near Albany with his wife Alex and children Matthew, Hannah, & Adam, and loves to escape up to West Shore Road, where his family's Adirondack cabin is located.
