Joseph Nicosia - Structural Designer

• B.S. Civil Engineering Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology

Joe brings his years of Structural Engineering experience to WDE.  He has focused in both building and bridge design throughout his career, working in both small and large engineering firms.

Joe received his bachelors degree from RIT, with a concentration in structural design.  Prior to graduating, Joe gained practical construction experience working as a roofer, a yardman at a concrete plant, and in general contracting. 

 

Joe grew up in Amsterdam, NY, and enjoys long hikes in the Adirondacks and generally all outdoor adventures - rock climbing, snowboarding, & snowshoeing.  Joe also doubles as a blacksmith on the side, with a passion for metal work and machining. 

 

He currently resides in Amsterdam with his wife and overall better half, Becca, and their two children, Gio & Alex.
